Exclusive Meetings for Members

Members of the Museum can enjoy exclusive new virtual events held via the Zoom video conferencing platform in 2021. The first series, called Signature Talks for Pointe-à-Callière Members, will feature three one-hour discussions with personalities from our museum milieu. Francine Lelièvre, the Museum’s founder and its Executive Director from 1992 to 2020, will share the story of her extensive experience. Anne Élisabeth Thibault, who took up the reins of the Museum in January 2021, and Christine Dufresne, newly appointed Director of Exhibitions – Technology and Multimedia, will be the guests for the remaining talks.

Books to discover!

The second series being offered, the The Book Club of Pointe-à-Callière Members, will showcase books or book collections created by Pointe-à-Callière. The three one-hour events will focus on the Pointe-à-Callière Collection, the Archaeology Collection, and the book Place au Cirque! A portion of the Book Club events will be dedicated to the presentation of rare books held by Pointe-à-Callière, or to the release of new books on history and archaeology, presented by one of the Museum’s archivists.
