2023-2024 Annual Campaign
Pointe-à-Callière for all
A world of possibility for all youth
This year, Pointe-à-Callière’s teams are undertaking an all-new project that aims to further increase accessibility to the Museum and make it a responsive and engaging discovery space for all young people: Pointe-à-Callière for all.
The Pointe-à-Callière Foundation is encouraging you to play a role in the fulfilment of this important initiative by donating to its annual campaign for 2023-2024.
What is Pointe-à-Callière for all ?
Pointe-à-Callière for all is a sensitive mediation program developed with the objective of facilitating access and visits to the Museum for young people with specific needs - for example, a young person with a physical or intellectual disability, or a child on the autism spectrum or with a developmental disorder.
Contributions to the campaign will allow us to carry out the first stages of this program:
• Develop tools for parents of children with specific needs who want to visit Pointe-à-Callière.
• Offer training to Museum guides and reception staff.
• Create new activities that meet the specific needs of the young people targeted by this program.
Why is it important?
Contact with culture at a young age has an undeniable positive impact: it arouses curiosity, stimulates creativity, encourages socialization, promotes harmonious coexistence, and fosters a feeling of belonging to one’s community. With Pointe-à-Callière for all, the team is seeking to give all young people a chance to experience the Museum, make it their own, and feel the energy of the space.
