To mark the 50 year anniversary of l'Osstidcho, Pointe-à-Callière proposes a display paying tribute to this show that had such an impact on Québec culture.

On May 28, 1968, the art scene in Montréal and in Québec was about to feel a shockwave with the premiere of l'Osstidcho at the théâtre de Quat'Sous. Even if critics at the time called it "blasphemous" and a "delirium of sounds and words", l'Osstidcho ushered Québecois music into the modern era. It is said that groups such as Beau Dommage, Harmonium, Offenbach and L'Infonie, among others, would never have existed without this now mythical show.
