Complementing the Expo-Clip Montréal métro: 50 years in the heart of the city, the Société historique de Montréal is presenting The History of the Montréal Métro at Pointe-à-Callière.

Lecturer Benoît Clairoux, author of Raconte-moi le métro de Montréal, a brief essay for young readers, will tell the story of the most spectacular work site in the city’s history, taking a look back at the “fathers of the metro”: Mayor Jean Drapeau, President of the Executive Committee Lucien Saulnier, and engineer Lucien L’Allier.
