Air Canada Draw benefiting the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation
For the 2nd edition of the MTL Ball, the annual benefit event supporting Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal’s archaeology and history complex (hereinafter, the “Museum”), the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation (hereinafter the “Foundation”) is holding a draw for 4 economy class return airline tickets to any Air Canada destination, valued at $ 6 000, offered by Air Canada (hereinafter, the “prize”). All funds raised will go towards supporting the Museum’s mission, projects, and development.

Description of the Prize
1.1. The prize includes four (4) promotional economy class return airline tickets for a trip to an Air Canada destination, valid only for regular flights on Air Canada, Air Canada Express, and Air Canada Rouge—a total value of $ 6 000.
1.2. Seats are subject to reservation in the applicable booking class at the time of booking, and promotional ticket holders are encouraged to book as early as possible to allow for maximum availability.
1.3. Travel must end no later than October 31, 2025.
1.4. These tickets cannot be used for travel during normal blackout periods, which are subject to change without notice (to learn more, see the list in Annex 1 of the contest rules).
1.5. Several conditions apply (to learn more, see the list in Annex 2 of the contest rules).
Eligibility
2.1. To be eligible to enter the draw, the entrant must be of age 18 or older and reside in Québec. The entrant must also provide: an email address, telephone number, and residential address in Québec.
2.2. Exclusion: employees of Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal’s archaeology and history complex (hereinafter, the “Museum”) and the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation (hereinafter the “Foundation”) are not eligible for the draw.
How to Enter
3.1. Tickets for the draw will be sold online beginning Friday, September 20, 2024 at noon (12 pm) and ending on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:59 pm, while available quantities last.
3.2. The cost of one (1) ticket is one hundred dollars ($100) and is payable in full using the online purchase form by credit card, pre-authorized debit, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
3.3. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, and no tax receipts will be issued following the purchase of one or more tickets.
3.4. One (1) ticket provides one (1) entry for the draw. Entrants may purchase more than one ticket.
3.5. A maximum of two hundred (200) tickets are available. Each ticket sold is numbered between 001 and 200. Ticket sales may end at any time once the two hundred (200) available tickets are sold out.
3.6. Entrants are responsible for the accuracy of the personal information they enter on the online purchase form. The Foundation cannot be held responsible for any errors or missing information as provided by the entrants. This information is required to contact the winning entrant at the completion of the draw.
Draw and Selection of the Winning Entrant
4.1. The winning entrant will be chosen in a random draw taking place on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 11 am, in the offices of the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation, at 350 Place Royale, Montréal (Québec) H2Y 3Y5.
4.2. Only one (1) person will be selected in the random draw. The person holding the numbered ticket corresponding to the number drawn will win the prize.
4.3. Provided that all the above-mentioned eligibility criteria have been met, the winning entrant will be contacted by email or by telephone by an employee of the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation within 24 to 48 hours following the draw, with the winner’s name posted on the Museum’s web page for the draw, as well as in a newsletter issued by the Foundation or the Museum.
Claiming and Receipt of the Prize
5.1. The winner can claim the prize, by appointment, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, in the offices of the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation at 350 Place Royale, Montréal (Québec) H2Y 3Y5.
5.2. Upon claiming the prize, the winner must provide identification including a first name, last name, and date of birth, and complete and sign a form serving as proof that the prize has been accepted and received. Once the form has been completed, the Foundation cannot be held responsible for any loss or problems relating to the prize.
5.3. The winner must accept and take possession of the prize within a maximum of two (2) months following the date of the draw, after which it will no longer be possible to claim the prize. Should the winner fail to meet this deadline to claim the prize, another winner will be selected.
Personal Information
6.1. The winner authorizes—without financial compensation—the Foundation to use and publish his or her name in the context of its activities, namely for promotional and advertising purposes.
6.2. All entrants agree to receive communications from the Foundation regarding this drawing and any other current or upcoming activity.
General Conditions
7.1. All information provided by participating entrants in this draw is subject to verification by the Foundation. Any information or document deemed to be incomplete, erroneous, fraudulent, or submitted or registered past the deadline provided for in these rules may be rejected by the Foundation and will not be entitled to an entry, nor will it qualify for the prize.
7.2. The Foundation will only communicate with participating entrants in the draw by the means specified in these rules.
7.3. If, for reasons beyond its control, the Foundation is unable to hold the draw in accordance with these rules and in complete safety, it may, at its discretion, cancel, modify, or suspend the draw.
7.4. Only one person can be a legitimate ticketholder. The winning entrant is the legitimate holder of a ticket on which the name and number correspond to the randomly drawn ticket number, regardless of who may have paid for the ticket when it was purchased.
7.5. The winner must accept the prize as described in these rules; it may not be modified, transferred, or exchanged for cash or for another prize.
7.6. The Foundation cannot be held responsible for any loss due to the bankruptcy or insolvency of Air Canada or any other eventuality that may make it impossible to use the prize.
Disputes
8.1. Any dispute regarding how this publicity contest has been run or organized may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

Air Canada Promotional Tickets Conditions
• All applicable fees, such as airport/departure taxes, security charges or other third-party fees, taxes, or charges are the sole responsibility of the bearer of the ticket.
• Once a ticket has been issued, the origin and destination cannot be changed. However, a change to the flight time, and/or travel date is permitted. Please go to aircanada.com and select “My Reservations” to make the desired changes. A change fee per ticket may apply.
• Should you decide to cancel your booking for whatever reason, Air Canada cannot issue a replacement promotional code.
• Extensions for the above-mentioned “travel booked by” and “travel completed by” deadlines are not permitted under any circumstances.
• Your ticket is not transferable, not refundable, and not redeemable for cash.
• Travel does not qualify for points/miles accumulation in any loyalty program.
• Stopovers or multi-city itineraries are not permitted.
• The use of eUpgrade credits is not permitted.
• Air Canada Signature Class may not be available on all international flights.
• Entry into the Air Canada Signature Suite is not permitted.
• Promotional pass winners may be held liable to Air Canada for failure to adhere to the restrictions and travel conditions applicable to their tickets or for the fraudulent use of the tickets.
