Exhibition on Saint-Henri
OPEN CALL
Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal Archaeology and History Complex, is preparing an exhibition about Saint-Henri to showcase the neighbourhood’s vibrant and fascinating history. The Museum is therefore looking for objects from this neighbourhood to tell its story and give a voice to its residents.
You can submit an object that comes from a Saint-Henri home that is important or memorable for you or associated with an event or a person who is important to you. We are not looking for valuable objects but rather those that tell the story of the neighbourhood's residents.

We are not looking for the most precious objects, but rather those that tell the story of the residents of the neighborhood, that remind you of Sunday evening meals, an event, or a tradition in your family.
It could also be something passed down through generations or something that reminds you of Sunday-night dinners, a special event, or a family tradition.
The object should be important and symbolic to you and old enough to speak to more than one generation.
Send us a photo of the object and tell us why it is important or why it brings back memories of your life in Saint-Henri.
To participate:
Take a picture of the object.
Write a short description: who the object belonged to and why the object is memorable or important for you.
Send your submission to [email protected].
You must be able to lend your object for the duration of the exhibition (one year).
You have until November 15, 2022 to submit your proposals.
The Museum reserves the right to refuse a loan offer even if the item meets the selection criteria (i.e., the Museum already has enough objects for a specific theme).
