Collections close up!

One of the mandates of the Pointe-à-Callière Museum is to acquire collections and objects related to the history of Montréal. The Museum is also responsible for conserving them, managing them and showcasing them as part of a varied program that includes the permanent and temporary exhibitions, educational activities and virtual projects. By virtue of the Museum’s collections, Pointe-à-Callière constitutes an ideal venue for conserving and interpreting the vestiges of Montréal’s past. Moreover, the Museum has carved out a unique position, Montréal, in national and internal Museum networks.
