Free

Make the most of summer with free outdoor activities, all summer long!

From May 21 to September 2, 2024, the Museum goes into summer mode with Summer on the Pointe— a program of free and festive activities taking place on the Museum’s forecourt, in a warm and friendly urban oasis.

Program

This year, Summer on the Pointe is proposing a plentiful program of activities, mainly inspired by the temporary exhibition Knights, developed in collaboration with Montréal community and arts organizations. The flagship events of Musical Middays events (Thursdays, from July 3 to August 14) and Family Sundays (July 6 to August 17) are back!

The very popular 18th Century Public Market will also be back (August 23 and 24).

Also make sure to see the 4 temporary exhibitions of summer 2025… and enjoy Bistro L’Arrivage for a full day at the Museum.

Musical Middays
Every Thursday, from July 3 to August 14, 2025, noon to 1 pm
