A Night Around the World

Now boarding at Pointe-à-Callière… Destination: the world! Featuring over 300 headdresses from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas, the must-see exhibition Headdresses from Around the World takes you on an incredible journey exploring the history and traditions of more than 200 different peoples. A true window onto the world’s cultural diversity!

And to further your exploration, the Kalabanté company and Montréal Chan Lion Dance Club will be on hand to set a festive mood—all night long—with music, dance, and circus performances, respectively drawing on Guinean and Chinese cultural traditions. A not-to-be-missed event!

The Favourites! Our Collections on Display exhibition will also be open free of charge. This moving exhibition paints a portrait of Montréal life, past and present, through 400 “favourite” objects chosen from among the thousands preserved at the Museum. Explore the city’s many facets and fall under its spell all over again... one object at a time!
