Giselle Webber took the Montréal musical scene by storm in the middle of the 2000s and, with her band Hot Springs, conquered the hearts of both Anglophones and Francophones. After a solo hip-hop intermission and appearances as a guitarist with the Red Mass collective, she moved from Montréal to the Laurentians, where she found the inspiration to create Gigi French and its jazz-cabaret, retropop, swing orchestra.
