In French only

For the 14th edition of the Festival interculturel du conte de Montréal, Pointe-à-Callière will host François Lavallée, Mike Burns, Nina Segalowitz, Nadine Walsh and the master of ceremonies, Alain Lamontagne, to present Montréal, l'île aux multiples paroles (in French only).

One island, five stories. From a friendship between a Scot and a Québécois in the streets on Montréal to the Sixties Scoop that stole Fisrt Nations chidren from their parents, from the arrival of the Irish who influenced life in the city to the contribution of women forgotten by the history books. This exeptional evening will tell the stories of inhabitants of the island as you have never heard them before, all this punctuated by the personal anecdotes and the harmonica blues of Alain Lamontagne, a kid from Verdun.
