The 5th edition of the Mixed Arts Festival in the heart of Old Montréal will be held from June 16 to 18! More than 50 artists from several Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Nations and from various disciplines, will come together for this unique event of Montréal's 375th. Free programming for the whole family inclusding concerts, a temporary art gallery showcasing over 40 artists, a photo exhibition, worshops, and a documentary film showing!

Vincent Vallières
Florent Vollant

Florent Vollant
Innu author, composer and singer Florent Vollant was born in Labrador in 1959 and grew up on a reserve named Maliotenam, east of Sept-Îles. He began his musical career in the middle of the 80s and helped to create the Festival Innu Nikamu, which, since its founding, has brought together many musicians and singers from various Amerindian nations. Nominated this year Companion of the Ordre des arts et des lettres du Québec, he will be presenting a major music show with his guests Zachary Richard and Vincent Vallières, with Maten as the opening act for this show, not to be missed.

Zachary Richard
Singer-songwriter, poet, cultural activist, environmentalist, Zachary Richard is best known as recording artist and performer. With 20 albums on his roster, including several "gold" and "platinum" albums, his musical career is international.

Vincent Vallières
Having become a must-see of the Québec musical scene, Vincent Vallières returns with a show based on his 7th career album, Le temps des vivants. The singer-songwriter-composer offers a pop almbum full of musical contrasts, flowing from festive to intimate pieces.

Maten
The Maten group has been active since the end of the 90s. They released their first album in 2001 (Akua tutu), their second in 2004 (an EP Tshi metuatshen), and finally a third in 2016, twelve years later. The group is much appreciated by young publics and old, as well as all Innu generations, due to their themes and their musical innovations.

Casper Lomayesva and The 602 Band
Casper Lomayesva is a Hopi / Dine' singer who has created a sound that combines his native roots with the positive vibes of reggae music. Casper's music is filled with hope and power. The words are a reflection of his own philosophy on life, influenced not only by the sounds of crucial reggae music but of traditional Hopi Culture.

Akawui
Akawui is a singer-songwriter-composer of a Chilean Indigenous backgroud. For urban music lovers o the world, he merges many multicultural musical genres, including; Cumbia, Regeaton, Afro-Brazilian, and Indigenous music along with the contemporary sounds of EDM and Hip-Hop.

Mariame
Mariame Hasni is a singer and songwriter from Montreal, Quebec who is of Cree and Arab descent. Mariame has been singing as long as she can remember she start singing publicly at the age of 13. In 2013, she is the recipient of the Rising Star Award at the Cree Achievement Awards, an award given to a young individual who best demonstrates the greatness of their talents.

Sinquah Family Dance Troupe
The Sinquah Family Dance Troupe (Hopi/Tewa/Choctaw) features the family trio Sampson, Scott, and Montee who enjoy sharing their dance styles and songs. In addition to Hoop Dance, the group also performs Men’s Fancy War Dance, Men’s Grass Dance, and the audience participation Friendship Dance.
