Les Samedis de l'histoire Lectures

In partnership with the Société des Filles du Roy and the Société d’histoire de Montréal, we will be screening the documentary De Filles du Roy à Mères de la Nation. It focuses on the crucial historical role played by the Filles du Roy and their descendants in giving birth to a Québécois people who went on to spread throughout North America. The screening will be followed by a short presentation on the Filles du Roy, pioneering women in Montréal.
