The Société historique de Montréal is presenting L'émergence de Montréal dans le système urbain nord-américain 1642 - 1776 (in French) at Pointe-à-Callière.
In a dialogue with the president of the Société historique de Montréal, Luc-Normand Tellier, professor emeritus at the Université du Québec à Montréal, will lead us to discover the grographical, economical and political factors which led to the emergence and growth of Montréal and the formation of the North-American urban system. He discusses this topic in a book, published by Septentrion in 2017, titled L'émergence de Montréal dans le système urbain nord-américain 1642 - 1776.
