The Société historique de Montréal is presenting Place aux femmes : une table ronde sur le métier de biographe (in French) at Pointe-à-Callière.
This round-table discussion led by Robert Comeau, will bring together Nicolle Forget (Thérèse Casgrain, la gauchiste au collier de perles, Fides, 1913); Micheline Lachance (Rue des remparts, Québec-Amérique, 2017); Marie Lavigne and Michelle Stanton (Idola Saint- Jean, l'insoumise, Boréal, 2017); Marjolaine Saint-Pierre (Louise Beaudet : de Lotbinière à Broadway, Septentrion, 2017) who will discuss their personal approaches to creating work based on the feminist icons of our history.
