Enjoy family-friendly activities for the holiday season!

Pointe-à-Callière transforms into a magical place during the holidays, immersing visitors of all ages in the warm atmosphere of the Victorian era. Inspired by the Sherlock Holmes, Cracking the Case exhibition , this year’s theme invites families to marvel, create, and have fun through activities set in the world of the legendary detective… with an added dose of holiday magic!

Show / Christmas Around the World

Our Who is the Real Santa Claus? show has a new name: Christmas Around the World! Same format, same magic!

Take a fascinating journey during which you’ll meet holiday figures from around the world. Each of them will share the story of Christmas from their homeland, along with unique traditions and enchanting tales. Meet Santa Claus, Saint Lucy, Melchior, and Rico (new!). Hear a story by Haitian author Marie-Denise Douyon and learn about Rico, the king’s craftsman, who is busy preparing for a big Christmas celebration by making countless lanterns!

A joyful world tour of Christmas traditions to thrill the entire family!

Creative Workshop

Take part in a creative workshop that the whole family can enjoy, relating to the exhibition Sherlock Holmes, Cracking the Case.

Elementary!
With Elaine Fafard-Marconi
Create a work of art inspired by the world of Sherlock Holmes by exploring the technique of collage! Using templates depicting the famous detective and copies of 19th century newspaper clippings and postcards, create a collaborative piece or your very own postcard-sized collage. An activity that involves art, history, and… mystery!

A Magical Setting

Experience the magic of the holidays as you stroll among our enchanting Victorian-inspired decorations in Place Royale, in the heart of Old Montréal, from November 10, 2025 to January 5, 2026! Glistening Christmas trees, cheerful wooden cabins, and cozy benches will put you in the holiday spirit. A big thank you to Chantal Royer!
