From Ville-Marie to Montréal

Presented in the context of the Journées de la culture, this conference contextualizes the pieces from the De Ville-Marie à Montréal concert. In the form of a discussion led by Marie-Christine Trottier of ICI musique, speakers will present the musicological and histrical contexts of the three peoples that built the City: First Nations, French and English. François Filiatrault, speaker, writter and historical music consultant and Élisabeth Côté, project manager at Pointe-à-Callière, will share the stage to lead you to discover the importance and wealth of this period of hisotry.
