An Accessible Event

Pointe-à-Callière’s Public Market is a festive and inclusive event that celebrates 18th century history, flavours, and know-how in a lively and friendly setting. Aiming to provide a pleasant experience for everyone in attendance, various measures have been put in place to facilitate access to the site and its activities.

Here is some information that will help you plan your visit with complete peace of mind.

Best Time to Visit the Market

The Public Market draws large numbers of visitors. If you want to avoid large crowds and enjoy a more peaceful experience, we recommend visiting in the morning, when the Market opens. Generally, there are fewer people attending at that time.

Show – Shooting Times

As part of a historical reenactment, shots will be fired on the site. Please see the shooting schedule to adapt your visit to suit your needs or those of the person you are accompanying. Shooting takes place next to the Inn (see the site map).
