Pointe-à-Callière, the Montréal Museum of Archaeology and History, presents Samurai – The Prestigious Collection of Richard Béliveau, a fascinating foray into the rich and complex world of these mythical warriors who ruled Japan for 700 years. The exhibition examines various facets of the lives of the samurai, who were both warriors and art lovers. For the very first time, Richard Béliveau has agreed to put his vast collection—one of the most impressive in the world—on display, and he chose Pointe-à-Callière to do it. The exhibition is one of the 20 major events planned by Pointe-à-Callière to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
