New in 2012: The Mariners House

In the summer of 2012, we will have new spaces available for rent to our various clienteles. The Mariners House—the emblematic building that served merchant mariners in Montréal at the end of the 19th century—is currently being renovated. It will be inaugurated in September 2012 as part of the festivities surrounding Pointe-à-Callière’s 20th anniversary. With the opening of this new pavilion, located on Place D’Youville at the corner of Place Royale, Pointe-à-Callière will have an even wider choice of rooms available for corporate events. An underground passageway will link the Mariners House to the Eperon, Pointe-à-Callière’s main building, thereby making it quite easy to combine special events with tours of the Museum.

Possible activities

From cocktail parties and lectures to meetings and launches, or any other type of event, the new spaces will meet any need. Wireless Internet access will be available in all rooms, and sound equipment and projectors can be provided according to client requests. Located at an exceptional site—at the very birthplace of Montréal—, these rooms will be a strategic choice for any organization seeking a new, modern, and welcoming space in the heart of Old Montréal.
