Pointe-à-Callière’s popular family exhibition, Pirates or Privateers? is getting a makeover! Starting on October 24, the exhibition Come aboard! Pirates or Privateers? will give families the opportunity to enjoy a seafaring experience that’s even more immersive and interactive.

To mark its inauguration, we are inviting you to a lecture by historian David Camirand who will whisk you off to the fascinating world of pirates and privateers, including Pierre Le Moyne D’Iberville, Canada’s most famous privateer! Come hear about these captivating historical figures and learn about their very unusual lifestyle with our lecturer and D’Iberville specialist, as he takes you on a unique journey back to the era of pirates and privateers. You will even have a chance to ask him your questions and get a peek at a few exclusive images of Pointe-à-Callière’s new family exhibition!
