Film fans with an interest in archaeology and history will be thrilled
with Point-à-Callière’s presentation of five films in the 33rd edition
of the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA). The five films will be screened in
Pointe-à-Callière’s Hydro-Québec multimedia room on March 24, 26, and
Twenty-five years ago, the construction of Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal’s Archaeology and History Museum, was in full swing. The Museum would rise above the very birthplace of Montréal. This required the preservation and presentation of remains from the various periods of occupancy on the site of Callière Point in Old Montréal, dating from 1642 to the present day.
