Come Meet an Archaeologist

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During the 18th Century Public Market, visitors will be able to meet one of Pointe-à-Callière’s archaeologists. He will use plans, maps, and certain artifacts to illustrate the latest discoveries made at the sites of Fort Ville-Marie and Callière’s residence, as part of the activities of Pointe-à-Callière’s archaeological field school, conducted through a partnership with the Université de Montréal. The archaeological digs have been taking place for over eleven years now, and fascinating discoveries have been made!
